No surprise to see Ichiro on top in 2009. One guy on this list who is a bit surprising is Ryan Braun. He’s not known as a speedster–in fact, he’s legendary for his poor defense in left field–but he’s always been good at getting infield hits, and he doesn’t hit into a ton of double plays.

For the curious, three players tied for the worst IFOP in 2009 with a -14 mark: Yadier Molina, Adrian Gonzalez, and Kevin Kouzmanoff. Gonzalez actually had the worst IFO/C (107.9) of anyone in the league, despite having an excellent season overall.
